The Braeswood Place HOA parade will be led by our Pack Trainer, Mr. Cliff Rhodes. Boys wishing to participate in this parade should contact him at carhodes@sbcglobal.net and should meet at 8:45 am at Turnberry Triangle. All boys carrying flags or banners must be in full scout uniform including hats. Please bring your den flags too.
PACK 34 ANNUAL PICNIC...
Pack 34 will be conducting a food drive for Star of Hope Missing in conjunction with both of these parades. We will staff collection booths in the Colonial Park swimming pool area and at
Mark Twain Elementary. Leaders and parents wishing to help staff these collection points should contact the respective leaders. Please bring your food donation items such as canned goods and packaged dry goods
STAR OF HOPE MISSION: FOOD DRIVE
Pack 34 held its annual pack picnic on Sunday, May 18 at Colonial Park in West University Place. Attendance was very good. The boys had a great time building and racing their Rain Gutter Regatta boats. A lot of the boys also spent their time making and launching compressed air rockets. Here are some photos of that event.
NEW PROGRAM YEAR
June 1 marks that date when you start work on the activities of the next rank. If you completed all the activities to obtain the current rank patch by May 31 but after the Pack picnic, please let the Awards Chairman, Mr. Patrick Bridges know by contacting him at jpbridgesmd@yahoo.com. If you did not complete all the requirements for attaining that rank, it is too late to do so but you
can still go ahead and work toward the new rank year and earn its patch. So, boys who were Tigers are now Wolves. Boys who were Wolves are now Bears, and boys who were Bears are now Webelos. Tiger den leaders will need to fill out a new leader registration form to become Cub Scout leaders (Wolf and Bear). Bear den leaders will have to fill out a new leader registration form to become Webelos leaders. They also will have to complete leader specific training for their new positions.
